MagicStock

What is MagicStock?

MagicStock is an image generation tool developed by Aimages Technologies d.o.o., whose main purpose is to convert natural language descriptions into PNG files with a transparent background. It is not a tool for lossless scaling of images, as claimed in some old database information; image enhancement and video enhancement are other functions provided by Aimages.

The product page still shows photos, icons, illustrations, and information regarding the ability to generate logos, claiming that results can typically be obtained within 30 seconds. However, the host used for generation is no longer functional, and the trial and start buttons on the overview page do not lead to the actual workspace.

Current operating status

• The product overview page, Aimages homepage, prices, frequently asked questions, privacy policy, and terms of service are still accessible.
• The statistics on the page are still changing, but the copyright information in the footer and most of the public materials date from 2023; it is therefore not possible to conclude that the system is still running based solely on those statistics.
• The trial, start-up, and purchase interfaces rely on a separate web application; however, that application’s host address cannot be resolved at the moment, which prevents registration, logging in, generation of necessary elements, or payment verification.
• The current status is better described as one in which the marketing and legal pages remain accessible, but the core applications are not available; it should not be treated as a regular online service that can be purchased for use.

The core functions that were once made public

• Generating transparent graphics from text: Users describe the subject, appearance, and style in a text box, and the system creates a PNG file with a transparent background, which can be easily added to posters, web pages, or presentations.
• Multiple material types: The page lists photos, icons, illustrations, and logos, making it suitable for quickly creating visual drafts or finding ideas for composition.
• Generating variations repeatedly: The same description can yield different designs, which are used to compare shapes, postures, and visual styles; the term “infinitely variable” refers to the ability to generate variations repeatedly, but it does not mean an unlimited number of generations for free.
• Shared credit billing: MagicStock and Aimages share Credits for images, videos, and AI Artist; the actual amount consumed is displayed before processing.
• Browser-based operation: The design goal is to enable use online, without the need to install models locally or have a high-performance graphics card.

Input and output

Original usage process

1. Go to the MagicStock product page and open the generation workspace.
2. Register or log in to your Aimages account to view your free points, remaining points, and estimated usage.
3. Enter a clear description, specifying the subject, style, color, perspective, and any requirements regarding the absence of a background.
4. Submit to generate and compare multiple results; modify the description if necessary and regenerate.
5. Download the transparent PNG and check that the transparent edges, shadows, text, hands, and small elements are correct.
6. Before using them in formal designs, verify the copyright status of the materials, as well as any risks related to characters and trademarks, and save a record of the creation process.

The aforementioned process is based on the original design of the product; at present, it is not possible to proceed beyond the first step, which involves account creation. Users should not attempt to submit payment information when they are unable to access the dashboard.

Suitable for users in their original environments

• Graphic and web designers: create button icons, decorative elements, and silhouettes of people or objects, which are then imported into other software for formatting.
• E-commerce and marketing teams: Quickly create transparent product concept diagrams, campaign elements, and social media visuals.
• Presentation creator: Creates illustrations that can be placed directly over content based on themes, thereby reducing the need for manual image cropping.
• Creatives: Explore composition, color schemes, and character direction before starting the actual drawing.
• Brand designer: Generates draft logos for discussion, but trademark searches and manual vectorization cannot be skipped.

The price and points associated with page retention

• The estimate is that 30 credits correspond to 300 MagicStock assets; the actual amount used will be displayed on the page before processing begins.
• Subscription points can be carried over and remain valid for one year after purchase; these rules are part of Aimages’ shared point system.
• The current application entry is not accessible; it is therefore impossible to determine whether prices can still be paid, whether free points can still be obtained, or whether subscription benefits will still be delivered.
• Until the service is restored and the settlement page can be accessed normally, the retained price can only be used to identify the historical billing structure; it cannot serve as a purchasable quote.

Cancellation and refund

• The existing subscription can be canceled on the account’s billing page; once canceled, the benefits remain valid until the end of the current billing cycle.
• Unused purchased Credits can be refunded in full, provided that the request is made within seven days of purchase and it is confirmed that the Credits have not been used.
• Once some Credits have been used, the FAQ states that no cash refund is available, but the support team may, at its discretion, refund part of the used credits.
• Refunds may not be available for promotional items; the relevant consumer laws take precedence. It is uncertain whether the current account and the available payment methods can handle refunds.

Copyright and commercial usage notes

• Aimages’ FAQ clearly does not endorse users uploading or modifying images and videos in terms of copyright, but it does not equally clarify the ownership of the materials generated by MagicStock.
• The terms of service grant only personal use rights to the materials on the website, and copying, reselling, or relicensing the platform’s materials is prohibited; this does not automatically equate to a commercial license to use the resulting products.
• The terms of AI Artist limit its direct use to research and personal consumption; it is not clear whether these terms also apply to MagicStock.
• Therefore, it cannot be concluded that something is suitable for commercial use based solely on its \"materials\" or \"logos\". For commercial projects, the operator must provide written confirmation regarding permission for use, exclusivity rights, and the scope of redistribution.
• The generated images may resemble existing characters, trademarks, photographic works, or designs; the user still needs to conduct checks regarding copyright, trademarks, and portrait rights.

Privacy and security

• The account may collect names, company details, addresses, email addresses, and phone numbers; the logs might also record web addresses, browsers, times of access, referring pages, and click information.
• The website uses cookies and may employ third-party advertising technologies; users can request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and data portability in accordance with applicable laws.
• The FAQ states that server data is encrypted using 256-bit AES and that access by technical staff is restricted, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
• The privacy policy does not specify details regarding MagicStock’s prompts, the creation of PNG files, model training, third-party processors, and the duration for which generated records are stored.
• The instructions for deleting and saving files in Aimages are primarily related to uploading and enhancing content; it cannot be assumed that the content generated by MagicStock will be deleted within the same time frame.

API, application, and open-source status

• No still usable MagicStock APIs, development documentation, SDKs, plugins, or automation interfaces were found.
• There are no confirmed official iOS or Android native apps, browser extensions, or desktop clients; the available version is a browser-based service.
• No official GitHub repository corresponding to the operating entity was identified, nor was an open-source license for the MagicStock source code found.
• The career page stated that Aimages uses PyTorch, TensorRT, ONNX, Docker, Django, and cloud infrastructure; this is merely information regarding the technical stack it employs, and it does not imply that the product or models are open source.

Capacity boundaries

• When a transparent background is generated, white edges, semi-transparent colored spots, broken shadows, and missing fine details may appear; manual image editing might still be required after downloading.
• Generative models do not guarantee accuracy in terms of text spelling, the originality of logos, the depiction of human hands, the structure of objects, or factual correctness.
• PNG is a bitmap format, and it is not equivalent to vector files that can be scaled infinitely; when printing or using it for logos, it is usually necessary to redraw them in vector format.
• The primary limitation is that the core application is currently not accessible; it is therefore impossible to verify the speed, volume, and delivery capacity of the page’s promotional functions.

Summary

MagicStock was originally developed for creating assets with transparent backgrounds; it has a clear purpose, and it also offered pay-per-use and subscription-based pricing through shared points. It is a different tool from Aimages’ image enlargement function, and the two should not be used interchangeably.

Currently, only the introduction, pricing, and policy pages can be accessed reliably; the service for generating application hosts is no longer functional. Unless the dashboard, accounts, billing system, and support channels are restored and re-verified, MagicStock should be considered an unavailable service, rather than an AI image tool that can be tried out or purchased immediately.
