Macaly is an AI-powered platform for building websites and full-stack applications, operated by the Czech company LANGTAIL.COM s.r.o. Users can describe their requirements in natural language, through sketches, page references, or business documents; the AI then generates functional interfaces, databases, authentication systems, backend logic, and content.

It combines code-free visual editing with the delivery of code, making it suitable for creating marketing websites, landing pages, customer portals, internal tools, dashboards, and applications with AI capabilities. Once generated, the content can be hosted directly, or the code can be downloaded and transferred to another environment.

Price and quota

• The listed price does not include any applicable taxes and fees; the region, currency, and actual settlement amount are as indicated on the account settlement page.
• The monthly points for the Free plan and the regular Pro plan are not carried over; one-time additional points are valid for 60 days from the date of purchase. The points for the Agency plan can be carried over for up to 60 days.
• Upgrading will result in the immediate charge of the full cost of the new plan, the allocation of complete points, and a reset of the billing cycle; downgrading takes effect after the current billing cycle comes to an end.
• The additional 10GB of database and file storage available in the Pro version costs 2 million points, while an additional 100,000 calls to the backend interfaces also cost 200,000 points.
• Subscriptions can be canceled at any time, but the amounts already paid are not refundable; access remains valid until the end of the paid period. The project is not deleted automatically upon cancellation, and sites with custom domain names need to switch to hosting, have their hosting transferred, or resume using the platform’s subdomain.
• The service may be available for a trial period during certain times, but the eligibility for the trial, whether payment is required, and automatic renewal upon expiration are subject to what is displayed in the account at that time.

API, GitHub, and open-source status

• The Agency solution includes the Macaly API and MCP, and is suitable for integrating project creation or proxying capabilities into an organization’s internal processes; the public pages do not disclose all endpoints, rate limits, and authentication details.
• Pro can be connected to GitHub to synchronize code and integrate with existing development processes. The ability to download code from GitHub does not mean that the Macaly platform itself is open source.
• Macaly’s open-source code structure includes projects such as Node.js that run within browsers; however, the code and licenses of these individual repositories do not reflect the licensing status of the entire platform.
• Platform services are proprietary software; users can download the generated projects and host them on their own. When planning for long-term maintenance, it is necessary to verify that all dependencies, build commands, environment variables, and migration documentation are available.

Copyright and Commercial Use

• Users retain the right to their own customer data they upload, and must ensure that they possess the necessary rights to upload, process, and use such data.
• The generated content can be used for personal or commercial projects; it can be modified, distributed, sold, or made available publicly. Similar content may also be generated for other users, so exclusivity is not guaranteed.
• The terms also prohibit the sale or distribution of the generated results as reusable website themes or templates. Delivering a single website to a customer is generally allowed; however, any operation in a template market requires separate authorization.
• If the application includes capabilities such as AI-generated content, chat functions, summarization, or image processing, the operator is responsible for carrying out oversight, informing users, meeting labeling requirements, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
• When accepting payments from end customers via Stripe, Macaly is not a payment service provider nor a party to the transaction; the merchant is responsible for handling refunds, disputes, chargebacks, taxes, and consumer-related obligations on its own.

Privacy, security, and data considerations

• The service handles prompts, instructions, uploaded files, customer data, as well as responses and content generated by AI; third-party models, cloud services, authentication mechanisms, search functions, image processing tools, and development tools may also be involved in this process.
