What is Pi AI?

Pi is a personal AI companion developed by the American company Inflection AI; its name derives from “Personal Intelligence”. Free use and pricing

Pi is currently available for free use. The official website does not list any individual subscription plans or pricing models based on the number of messages sent; the app appears as “Free” in the App Stores of the United States and the United Kingdom, with no options for Pi membership purchases shown.

Users can use text chat, voice communication, and account features without purchasing a membership.

Free services may still be subject to fair use policies, geographical restrictions, system load, security measures, or temporary frequency limits. Inflection AI might also change its products and business models in the future; therefore, any new plans that become available should be checked on the official website and in the app store for up-to-date information.

Inflection’s enterprise services are distinct products and cannot be used as the price basis for the Pi personal version.

It is also possible to manage or delete individual memories. Deleting chat records is a different operation from deleting long-term memories; sensitive information should be checked separately in the chats, memories, and exported files.

Model and open-source status
