Baibiao is an OCR text recognition and file scanning application developed by Youling Technology, intended for students, office workers, and ordinary users who need to extract information from images, paper documents, and tables. It can handle multi-language and handwritten text recognition, batch processing, image cropping, conversion of tables into Excel format, PDF creation, as well as translation and proofreading; it is suitable for taking notes from books, creating class notes, digitizing documents, and scanning IDs.

Main functions of the Bai Miao APP

• High-precision OCR recognition:After shooting or importing an image, the text contained within it is extracted, and the areas where the text is located are marked on the original image; the user can then select the content they need, either row by row or in blocks.
• Horizontal and vertical layout recognition:It can handle common horizontal layouts, as well as vertical text and multi-column layouts, making it suitable for books, newspapers, and various types of printed materials with different layouts.
• Handwritten text recognition:In addition to printed text, it can also read handwritten documents, which are useful for organizing class notes, drafts, assignments, and other handwritten materials.
• Multilingual recognition:It supports languages such as Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Russian, and Spanish; the language to be recognized can be selected based on the material.
• Batch text processing:Up to 50 images can be selected at once for recognition, and the results of all these images are combined into a single block of text; this approach is suitable for processing pages from books or meeting materials in bulk.
• Convert table to Excel:By selecting the table mode on the identification page, it is possible to detect the row and column structure within the image and generate an Excel file, which makes it easy to export the data for further editing.
• Automatic document trimming:Once the camera is focused on the document, it automatically detects the edges of the paper and performs cropping, reducing the need for manual adjustments and resulting in output that is closer to what a scanner would produce.
• Continuous photo scanning:When dealing with multi-page documents, it is possible to take continuous photos and automatically generate scanned versions; users do not need to repeat the single-page processing procedure for each page.
• Scan color enhancement:It offers modes such as color, black and white, grayscale, and original image enhancement, which are used to eliminate shadows, improve wrinkles, and enhance the clarity of the text in scanned documents.
• PDF creation and conversion:Multiple scanned documents can be combined into a PDF, and PDFs can also be converted into images for further processing, with the option to convert them later into formats such as Word.
• Translation of recognition result:Once text extraction is complete, it can be translated directly between various languages without the need to copy it into other translation tools; it is suitable for reading and organizing foreign-language materials.
• Original image comparison and verification:The proofreading view displays both the original image and the editable version, allowing users to make corrections one by one based on the original text, thereby improving the accuracy when entering long texts.
• History search:The identification results are automatically saved as part of the history, making it easy to search for them later, to continue editing them, or to share them again – thus avoiding the need to scan the same material repeatedly.
• Quick copy and share:The selected text can be copied and opened in common third-party applications, or it can be sent to WeChat, QQ, or note-taking tools through the system’s sharing functions.
• Document scanning and watermarking:It supports creating A4 scans of both sides of an ID card; it is possible to choose between black and white or color versions, the images can be automatically cropped and stitched together, and a custom watermark can be added before saving or printing them.
